CLASSIC CONVERSIONS AND RESTORATIONS
When she came to us, this Land Rover was a far cry from the glorious Herbert Lomas Ltd Ambulance conversion of its 60's heyday. At some point in its life it had been used as a hippy bus, complete with 'unsubtle' exterior roll cage. Abandoned in a barn and in danger of fading away into a pile of rust, its destiny took an upturn when it arrived at Dormobile.
Bit by bit the Land Rover was stripped back to its chassis and painstakingly rebuilt.
